A chance collaboration between two restless musical lifers, The Best Head In Showbiz is the sound of two artists with the rarest luxury of all: time. Pierre Corradini and Thomas E. Frank fell into the same orbit through overlapping projects, and what began as loose studio jams deepened into a full album built on instinct and chemistry. The result is wide-screen and cinematic — expansive, globally-tinted compositions that nod to the artistic lineage of John Cale, Vangelis, and film-score atmospherics, weaving instrumental passages and vocal tracks into one cohesive world.
Thomas E. Frank — the self-styled "psychedelic grandfather" — built his name with Scandinavian folk-psych mainstays Den Stora Vilan before turning his focus to Hollow Ship, a funk-leaning psychedelic quartet fusing analog warmth with modern technique. He handled mixing and arrangement for the record at his own studio, Ljudvalvet.
Pierre Corradini's path runs stranger and wider — high school karate champion, pub-rock guitarist, and a decade inside a Swedish countryside commune that reshaped him as a writer and player. Now a multi-instrumentalist drawing on all of it, he brings that lived-in depth to every track. Together, the pair turn an unlikely partnership into a record that feels timeless and wholly unexpected.
